JK Healthcare Services provides home care for people living with dementia in Tipton and across Sandwell, so they can stay in familiar surroundings with support that respects who they are.
Many people living with dementia feel most settled in the home they know. Familiar rooms, objects and routines can make daily life feel less confusing, and care at home lets a person keep as much of that as possible.
We aim to send a small, consistent team of carers so that the person sees familiar faces and builds trust. Dementia is one of the specialisms on our CQC registration.
Support is shaped around the person, not a fixed list. It can include help with washing, dressing and other personal care, prompting and preparing meals and drinks, medication prompts, company and gentle conversation, getting out to appointments or community groups, and a calm presence that helps a day feel predictable.
Tell us about the person’s history, likes, dislikes and what tends to cause distress. That helps us match the right carer and agree a routine that feels natural.
Caring for someone with dementia is demanding. Regular visits can give a family carer time to rest, work or see friends, and our respite care page explains how respite at home works. Your plan is reviewed with you and your family as needs change.
We provide personal care and practical support at home. We do not provide nursing or therapy, and we work alongside GPs, district nurses and other health professionals.
The first step is a free, no-obligation consultation. We visit you at home, listen to what matters to you, and build a care plan with you and your family. We then introduce one or two carers chosen for compatibility, not just availability. For most clients, care can begin within a few days of the consultation, and sooner in urgent situations.
If you are unsure what support is needed, the person’s GP can advise, and you can ask Sandwell Council for a free needs assessment. Carers can ask for a carer’s assessment.
Other ways we can help: Personal care at home · Care for older people · Care after a hospital stay · Respite care · Physical disability support.
Areas we cover: Tipton, Sandwell, West Bromwich, Wednesbury and Dudley.
